In this demonstration, we show 3 different metals being cut by Helical End Mills using Volumill Toolpath technology.

Part 1:
Material= 6061-T6 Aluminum
Tool= 1/2" 3 Flute End Mill
SFM= 1950

Part 2:
Material= Titanium
Tool= 5 Flute End Mill
Spindle Rate= 3820 RPM
SFM= 500
Feed Rate= 126 in/minute

Part 3:
Material= Inconel 718
Tool= 1/2" 7 Flute End Mill
Spindle Rate= 2200 RPM
Feed Rate= 32 in/minute
Depth of Cut= 1" SFM= 286
